KŌKUA
Kōkua — leave it better
Kōkua means help — given freely, without being asked, because it's needed.
Every stay includes a small per-night contribution, shown as its own line on your receipt before you book. Nothing is hidden in the nightly rate, and it isn't a tip we keep. One hundred percent goes to the organizations below.
Where it goes
Right now, contributions fund the restoration of Koʻieʻie Fishpond — the 500-year-old loko iʻa directly in front of the building — and weekly shoreline cleanups along the Kīhei coast.
We publish what was contributed and where it went, plainly, on this page.
Give your hands instead
Two hours at a community workday does more than any line item. Guests are welcome at the fishpond rebuilds and the Saturday shore crews — links below, no sign-up hassle, kids welcome.
